One of the simplest and most affordable shower floor options is a pre fabricated shower base made of synthetic material.

The base needs to have a drain an edged frame and tiles for the decorative finish.
It is used because it is moldable and will hold form.
Also make sure your floor is pre sloped before installing the rubber liner in the following steps to prevent future mold and mildew.
