Once your hole is drilled you can shove a glow rod through the hole to start fishing wire attach your wire to the eyelet at the end and pull it back through. Glow rods can also be used to hook wires to pull them out as a wire snake tool. Pull the e thernet cable to its destination and you re set. Head back to the opening where the wire was sitting and remove the magnet and the nail then tie the fish tape to the wire. Attach the wire or cable to a fish tape or coat hanger using electrical tape and feed it into the hole until it reaches the opening at the other end.

Strip the end of the sheathing attach the wires to the fish tape and tape them in place. Use a coat hanger to fish the wire through on the other side and tack your cables to a stud to keep them neat and out of the way in case there is any future wall cutting.
